Jamie is Vice President of Creative at Kobalt Music Publishing. With over a decade of experience, she is a highly regarded music executive. Since joining Kobalt in 2014, Kinelski has significantly contributed to the diversity and development of the revolutionary company’s roster.
Some of her signings include: Hayley Kiyoko, Kali Uchis, Jared Leto, Father John Misty, Lil Dicky, SOPHIE, The Lemon Twigs, Anderson East, Doc McKinney (CREDS), Sam Hollander (CREDS), 88 Rising, Heavy Duty Publishing & more.
Prior to joining Kobalt, Kinelski served as Director of Creative Services, Pop/Rock at ASCAP, where she signed artists such as Big Sean and HAIM. Before ASCAP Kinelski spent three years as Executive Assistant to Roc Nation Co-founder and President, Jay Brown, where she honed her skills by assisting day-to-day management duties for clients along with Roc’s writer and producer roster.
Kinelski started her career as a promotions assistant at Epic Records in 2007 after attending William Patterson University in Wayne, New Jersey, where she studied music business.
Kinelski is passionate about bringing a diverse array of artists to a larger audience in a way that encourages their goals, growth, and ultimate success.
