Evan M. Greenspan is the founder and president of EMG Music Rights, a clearance and licensing firm that has handled over 120,000 music clearances for projects in all media for clients that include the Oscars, Emmys and Grammys, “Ellen,” “Jimmy Kimmel Live” the American Film Institute, HBO, ABC, CBS/Viacom, NBC/Universal, FOX, Netflix and Amazon.  Prior to founding EMG in 1987, Evan created the music departments for Alan Landsburg Productions and Bob Banner Associates.  An ASCAP composer and publisher, he holds degrees in musicology and composition from the University of Pennsylvania and an MFA in Theater from UCLA.  He is a voting member of the Academy of Television and Arts and Sciences, Past President of the California Copyright Conference, a guest lecturer for UCLA Extension, Brigham Young University and the State Bar of California Intellectual Property Law Section.
