This panel will examine the relationship between a company's synch and A&R departments, and how the focus on licensing affects what's ultimately pitched to music supervisors. Are A&R departments now signing bands with an eye toward music supervisors' needs? How much do A&R departments understand about music supervision? How do supervisors' choices affect who gets a record deal? We will speak with synch licensors, A&R reps and music supervisors to discuss these and other issues.
